The Senior Account Manager interacts with clients and internal partners as both an effective project steward and partner to clarify and develop project objectives, identify challenges, and guide strategy and metrics development. As such, the Senior Account Manager should demonstrate an understanding of the client’s business (objectives, risks, and strategies) and its marketing goals, applying them to guidance for projects and to identify incremental growth opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for both leading small to medium‑sized projects and acting as day‑to‑day support on larger projects.
- Work effectively with a variety of internal disciplines and teams
- Detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
- Think and operate with strategic orientation and task/project management
- Lead cross‑functional teams and navigate cross‑agency collaboration
- Help mentor and support career development of team members
- Ensure operational excellence on the accounts and projects managed
- Lead the team in execution of project deliverables
- Maintain and grow knowledge of client’s business, competition, and industry
- Lead the team’s understanding of client’s business goals/objectives relative to projects
- Identify new and inventive ways to contribute to and grow client business, including thought leadership around areas of interest and new opportunities; develop MIP plans for managed brands
- Participate in key client meetings including status meetings, briefings, MRL reviews, cross‑agency partner meetings, agency days, and VML presentations

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is $60,000–$140,000 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job‑related factors including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
