Our portfolio includes Laura Geller Beauty, Bliss, Cover FX, Julep Beauty, and Mally Beauty.
The Community Manager is a beauty-obsessed individual who fosters one-to-one relationships across our social media handles. This person has a deep understanding of social media platforms and creatively goes above and beyond in each interaction. Our consumers drive our business, and the Community Manager will be on the front lines each day, nurturing and growing our community across the AS Beauty brands.
They report to the Social Media Director and work closely with the Social, Influencer, and Marketing.
We are 4x in-office with WFH Fridays.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with and respond to questions, comments, and concerns across all AS Beauty social channels
- Partner with Customer Service team to address any consumer product and order issues
- Engage daily on UGC and influencer posts
- Manage our marquee’s social communities (i.e., Broadcast Channel, Threads) and post dedicated content in those channels (includes light content creation)
- Identify surprise & delight moments and foster our marquee brand’s loyal community
- Serve as a key leader in AS Beauty’s consumer feedback model; sharing consumer social comments internally and working collaboratively with Product Development, Marketing, and Creative to inform future efforts
- Assist team members with brainstorming and strategy meetings to increase engagement and aid efficiencies
- Track and measure social media engagement and growth
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform updates to ensure we are using the latest innovation when connecting with our communities
- Manage community management freelancers and oversee quality assurance of their work
- 2+ years of experience in marketing (beauty experience is a bonus)
- Knowledge of all social media platforms and methods of communications on these platforms
- Knowledge of Facebook Groups is a bonus
- Experience managing and writing to brand voice and tone
- Experience using Dash Hudson and Meta Business Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Sprout is a bonus
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to juggle multiple conversations and solve problems efficiently and thoughtfully
