Job Description The Position

The Group Copy Supervisor (GCS) is an active contributor to the creative team, taking full responsibility of the work, owning concept and copy development on various projects across the portfolio ranging in complexity and scope. The GCS has a proven ability to multitask and delegate as appropriate to ensure seamless management of projects of varying types, while still contributing to idea generation.

The GCS is a direct liaison between creative and senior account team members, focused on consistently delivering work that answers strategic, business, and creative expectations. The GCS possesses advanced presentation skills and is often called upon to sell work externally. The GCS is also responsible for providing career‑building guidance, mentorship, and support to the full copy team to foster growth and development.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Contribute actively to the creative team, taking full responsibility for concept and copy development on various projects.
  • Multitask and delegate as appropriate to ensure seamless management of projects of varying types.
  • Generate ideas while managing multiple projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between creative and senior account team members, ensuring work meets strategic, business, and creative expectations.
  • Deliver advanced presentations and sell work externally.
  • Provide career‑building guidance, mentorship, and support to the full copy team to foster growth and development.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Expectations Of The Job
  • Travel:
    Some travel may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off‑site personnel/management.
  • Hours:

    Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications Minimum Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required.
  • At least 8 years of writing experience in marketing, advertising or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of pharmaceutical HCP writing experience is required.
  • Examples of branded or unbranded HCP collateral conveying key marketing messages and scientific content through a storytelling lens.
  • Expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy.
  • Experience with complex projects that include internal and external account and creative teams.
  • Client‑facing confidence that advances dialogue, sells creative ideas and creates strong agency‑client relationships.
