The Role
We are seeking a Director of Brand & Communications who will own Redesign Health’s global brand, messaging, and communications strategy, positioning us as the institutional co-founder of choice for ambitious healthcare founders worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a brand that directly powers the creation and success of companies transforming healthcare globally.
What You’ll DoYou will lead an AI powered brand and communications function to oversee all brand touch points, ensuring our identity is consistently and authentically reflected across company assets, digital channels, events, and market interactions. Through thought leadership, strategic content, and executive platforms, you will establish Redesign Health as the authoritative voice in healthcare AI. You will lead impactful media relations, amplify portfolio company successes, and host brand-building events that foster meaningful connections with founders, partners, and the broader healthcare innovation community.
You will excel at building relationships with media, partners, and industry influencers, and you are energized by the opportunity to shape a brand that is transforming healthcare innovation at scale.
- Own Global Redesign Brand and Messaging:
Own our core brand and messaging, refining as required, ensuring it’s reflected across all company assets including our website and interpersonal interactions. Create resources for others to leverage to maintain a consistent high-caliber brand across interactions with investors, partners, and founders. Build an internal “brand intelligence hub” that tracks how Redesign and portfolio brands are perceived across media. - Drive Market Leadership:
Position Redesign Health as the authoritative voice in healthcare AI through creation and distribution of high-quality strategic content. Create and distribute market-shaping perspectives that demonstrate our deep healthcare innovation expertise. - Lead Global Communications Strategy:
Drive strategic communications and media relations across key global markets to showcase our unique value proposition, operational expertise, and market-defining success. Use channels including our website, Linked In, earned media, and conferences. - Host Founder and Partner Events:
Host events that amplify the Redesign brand in support of engaging founders, investors, and partners. Seek to co-host events with other significant brands including VCs to add credibility and reduce costs. - Support Portfolio Communications:
Amplify portfolio company successes to support the Portcos and demonstrate Redesign Health's proven ability to accelerate healthcare innovation. Guide companies through critical communications moments and balance high-quality communications with the potential efficiencies of AI. - Build an AI native marketing function:
Experiment with and deploy AI-native approaches to content creation, distribution, and analytics.
- 8+ years of work experience, with at least 3 in a marketing, brand, and communications function, with depth in at least one area. Experience in other functions is welcomed for a holistic business-first approach to building a brand.
