We are seeking a strategic and execution driven Social Media Coordinator to lead day-to-day social media execution across the Emerest Companies brands.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City. While remote flexibility is available, the role requires regular travel to company office locations throughout NYC - and occasionally out of state - to capture content and support brand initiatives.

This position is responsible for creating, editing, distributing, and optimizing content across Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linked In, and You Tube.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong understanding of brand positioning, performance metrics, and cross functional collaboration. This individual will help bring the corporate brand to life cohesively across platforms while driving measurable growth in engagement, reach, and audience acquisition.

Responsibilities

Social Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and maintain the monthly cross-brand social editorial calendar
  • Conduct competitive research, benchmarking, messaging refinement, and audience identification
  • Execute and publish consistent, high quality content that builds meaningful community engagement
  • Maintain cohesive brand voice across multiple sub-brands while preserving distinct positioning
  • Evaluate new platform opportunities and recommend channel expansion strategies

On-Site Content Capture & Travel

  • Travel regularly between company office locations across NYC to capture content and highlight operations
  • Participate in occasional out-of-state travel for company events, activations, and leadership initiatives
  • Capture and edit raw photo and video content to support real-time storytelling
  • Be present on-site as needed to authentically document company culture, caregiver stories, and executive initiatives

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to align content and initiatives
  • Collaborate on paid social campaigns and budget alignment

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics
  • Generate monthly reporting dashboards with actionable insights
  • Optimize content strategy based on performance data and platform trends
  • Continuously research and present up-to-date social media best practices

Reputation & Community Management

  • Respond promptly and professionally to comments and direct messages
  • Monitor brand reputation across platforms
  • Support review management and digital presence consistency

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, New Media, Public Relations, or related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in social media marketing or content implementation
  • Demonstrated success growing engagement, reach, or follower base
  • Proven experience managing Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linked In, and You Tube
  • Experience using analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Linked In Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience with social publishing tools (Later App)
  • Strong copywriting and content editing skills (Cap Cut, Canva, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple brand identities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with executive stakeholders
  • Must be comfortable with a hybrid work structure that includes regular local travel
  • Ability to in a fast-paced, evolving environment
