About The Opportunity

This role is responsible for developing strategic product marketing plans for our Corporate Brand/s, working closely with senior stakeholders, regional teams, product, Brand Marketing & PR/Communications, Customer Success, Account Management, Operations and Sales. The role will craft product/solution market-facing messaging and positioning to drive new customer sales, product adoption and retention. It guides insight-led product strategy and communicates market positioning, product messaging, and competitive differentiation to target audiences.

The role manages the process of bringing solutions to market, including crafting positioning and messaging, GTM planning with associated activities, and ensuring all relevant prospects and existing clients understand the offerings. It aims to drive demand and usage of solutions, and to ensure the voice of the customer is utilized throughout the product lifecycle. By creating and leveraging market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement, the role will become the expert on client/customer personas, their needs, and how these influence buying criteria and the product roadmap.

The hired candidate will collaborate with teams across the business (Brand Marketing & Communications, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product Management, Subject Matter Owners, Implementation & Operations) and external partners to effectively launch new products and feature releases. The role also leads the assigned product marketers to the brand portfolio, ensuring annual plans and performance align with Brand Business OKRs, and drives consistent and efficient ways of working while upholding FCTG values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positioning & Messaging: through detailed market research and competitive landscape analysis, identify and develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions.
  • Sales and Marketing Tools: create collateral, whitepapers, presentations, videos, and training materials to communicate the value proposition of our solutions internally and externally.
  • Product launches & High-Value Releases: plan market launches with internal teams and external Tech Partners/Suppliers and manage cross-functional GTM plan implementation.
  • Communications: collaborate with sales, account management, customer success, training, operations, deployment, enablement, brand marketing and PR to broadcast our message across the market and partner community.
  • Market Intelligence: be the expert on clients/buyers, their personas and buying criteria; be the expert on competition and how to succeed.
  • Demand Generation: support brand marketing strategies and programs that create interest for our solutions across market segments.
  • Industry Leadership: represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and webinars as appropriate.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in mid-to-senior product marketing or related FCTG product/technology roles.
  • Preferred: experience with innovative technology organizations and SaaS; strong understanding of the FCTG business model and product/technology areas.
