Based on the specific needs and job requirements, this role will be working out of our Bombas HQ in New York City.
About the Job:As our brand scales, we are evolving our marketing leadership to ensure both our product and our overarching brand narrative receive dedicated focus. Director of Brand Marketing & Activations is responsible for our larger cultural footprint, overarching campaign strategy, and macro brand identity.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining the thematic roadmap for the brand, managing the overarching brand marketing budget, and deciding how and where we deploy campaigns throughout the year. You will lead community programs/ partnerships and general content strategy while overseeing a team of functional and day-to-day channel owners of our social and influencer programs. Your role is to provide the strategic "north star," guide their content strategy, manage the overarching budget, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and fuel the cross-functional integration of brand thinking.
Whatyou’ll be responsible for:
- Brand Strategy & Thematic Campaign Planning (40%)
- Campaign Support & Execution: Oversee brand-driven campaign intention, concepting, and executions across all channels. Decide how and where we add campaigns throughout the year to build a larger brand story.
- Budget & Priority Tactic Lead: Fully manage the brand marketing budget and serve as the point of contact for key organizational initiatives, fueling an internal push towards larger cross-functional objectives.
- Brand Identity & Analytics: Continually refine and distribute knowledge about brand positioning across the organization. Support improvements in brand measurement, including various qualitative and quantitative sources.
- Wholesale and Retail Planning: Lead in developing strategies to help Bombas show up the right way in existing and new retail channels, as well as programming and team training in our owned stores.
- Partnerships, Activations & Omni-channel Integration (30%)
- Strategic Partnerships, Sampling, and Giveaways: Responsible for identifying targeted sampling and collaboration opportunities against company objectives. You will find the right properties, places, and partners we should engage with to build our larger story - and develop tracking and measurement tools.
- TV/OTT: Support bi-annual spot development from concept to execution and flighting.
