Overview

Audacy’s Media Strategy and Sales Planning team seeks an experienced media professional to drive the development, execution, and measurement of multimodal campaigns across Audacy’s portfolio of broadcast, streaming, podcast, social, video, and digital advertising assets. The role blends strategic planning, client consulting, and cross‑functional execution in a hybrid New York, NY workplace.

Starting salary range: $65,000–$75,000 per year, adjusted for experience, skills, and internal equity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop best‑in‑class media campaigns leveraging Audacy’s full asset mix, including streaming audio, podcasts, broadcast radio, social, email, and display advertising.
  • Understand client needs and craft win‑win media plans that solve business objectives and support campaign goals.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and Audacy sales teams on pitch development, strategy, and client proposals.
  • Lead strategic thinking and best practices to improve processes and support key company initiatives.
  • Master internal systems to respond efficiently to client requests and deliver timely support.
  • Oversee a growing team of Campaign Managers, providing executional and post‑sale support across all media channels.
  • Analyze and report on existing business and competitive marketplace activity to inform strategy.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree.
  • 2+ years of media experience at a media company, publisher, or ad agency.
  • Experience responding to media RFPs from advertising agencies and/or media clients.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with deep knowledge of media math and strategy.
  • Demonstrated campaign management from planning to optimization, driven by analytics.
  • Strong desire to learn all Audacy product offerings.
  • Preferred experience with DFP, Triton, Strata, and Wide Orbit.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
