Big Apple Basketball is seeking a professional volunteer to assist with weekly website updates.

Big Apple Basketball is a New York City–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports youth, families, and the basketball community through training programs, mentorship, leadership development, college exposure, and community events.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented volunteer with experience in website content management, communications, or digital media to help keep our website current and organized.

Responsibilities

Posting weekly news updates and announcements
Uploading photos and media from events
Updating program pages and upcoming events
Adding alumni highlights and community stories
Ensuring links and pages remain accurate and organized
Assisting with occasional website improvements

Time Commitment

Approximately 1–2 hours per week.

Location

Remote / Virtual.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing or updating websites
Background in communications, marketing, journalism, or digital media
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate and coordinate with the Big Apple Basketball leadership team
