** ROLE

SUMMARY:

** Reporting to the Vice President, Communications – the Senior Director, Corporate Communications will operate as a strategist and team leader, serving as a cross-functional campaign director, connecting internal teams, and ensuring alignment toward achieving Anheuser-Busch’s reputation objectives. This person will manage several direct reports who oversee proactive and reactive external communications, including public affairs/government relations, crisis/issues, community impact, executive positioning, and corporate reputation campaigns.

This position is based in New York City.

As a hands-on leader, s/he will oversee the successful execution of work in close collaboration with senior leaders at the company across State & Federal Government Affairs, Community Impact, Labor Relations, Brewing, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, and more.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** In partnership with the Vice President, Communications, lead the development and execution of one- and three-year communications plans, aligned with the company’s goals and growth objectives while delivering measurable outcomes. This includes:  + identifying and leveraging opportunities to enhance reputation and drive business success;  + creating awareness and appreciation for the company, its leaders, and its products;  + managing integrated earned, owned, and paid media strategies, with a premium placed on a sophisticated digital marketing;  

+ driving stakeholder engagement across all relevant internal and external audiences.
* Serve as an effective liaison for cross-functional teams, with a strong understanding of company priorities.
* Build and maintain working relationships with external stakeholders, including communications/public affairs agencies, government officials, non-profit organizations, corporate partners, and national media, with the ability to leverage these relationships at important junctures.
* Develop and test campaign key messages to effectively communicate to target audiences.
* Manage budget forecasting and tracking.
* Ensure that activities undertaken, and decisions made within the area of responsibility are consistent with and are informed by available research and measurement information, creating an evidence-based approach to communications.
