The RoleThe Manager, Experiential, will support the internal Event Production team and clients in delivering innovative experiential opportunities, ideas, and activations for brand clients. This position works cross‑functionally with internal and external properties, vendors, clients, and agencies.
Responsibilities- Deliver best‑in‑class, business‑driving experiential opportunities, ideas, and activations for brand clients.
- Ensure the most forward‑thinking, breakthrough ideas and activations.
- Contribute by keeping up with the latest developments in experiential marketing, identifying and implementing cutting‑edge technologies.
- Lead CAA’s efforts in developing and maintaining relationships with world‑class vendors, fabricators, and technology partners.
- Participate in and contribute to project planning, development meetings, and internal/external status meetings.
- Work cross‑functionally to ensure the highest quality and smoothest operation of the overall production – from brief, through pre‑production, and onsite execution.
- Identify appropriate outside vendors, request and negotiate bids, select, hire, and manage vendor contracts, payments, and deliverables; monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
- Work with Account Service Teams to deliver breakthrough ideas that meet client objectives.
- Support all Event Production needs to ensure world‑class execution.
- Collaborate on project‑based brand client experiential initiatives from start to finish (briefing to execution).
- Ensure consistent and comprehensive communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate creative approval processes (e.g., renderings, signage, POS, etc.).
- Develop and manage timelines, run‑of‑show, budgets, and reconciliation.
- On‑site event logistics management and execution.
- Establish effective relationships across agency multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure all agency protocols are followed, including vendor agreements, accounting processes, recaps, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar discipline.
- At least 4–6 years’ experience in sports and entertainment experiential and/or event marketing.
- Understanding of how brand partnerships work – from negotiation through execution, management, and event production.
- Strong relationship‑building skills.
- High level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail.
- Must be creative and a strategic thinker.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability and knowledge to utilize agency resources effectively.
- Willingness to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Capability to lift heavy boxes and items up to 30lbs.
- Must be able to work in an office at least 3 days per week.
- Agency experience highly preferred.
This role will be hybrid, located in our New York office.
CompensationThe annual base salary for this position is in the range of $90,000 to $110,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. The final salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location.
