Position: Marketing and Comms Specialist (Interior Design) - New York, NY
Location: New York

Mission Hires is hiring a Marketing and Communications Specialist to support our client, an award‑winning architecture and interior design firm headquartered in New York City. In this NYC‑based role, you’ll join a collaborative, fast‑paced marketing team to craft compelling proposals, presentations, and award submissions; develop impactful marketing materials; and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date collateral and project data.

Responsibilities
  • Create compelling presentations, qualifications, proposals, and award submissions using Adobe In Design
  • Develop impactful marketing materials aligned with firm brand and goals
  • Collaborate with project teams to craft proposal narratives and scopes of work
  • Update and maintain marketing collateral, templates, and project database
  • Apply marketing fundamentals and best practices specific to the A/E/C industry
  • Coordinate multiple deadlines and deliverables in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and on‑time delivery; work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
  • Partner effectively with executives, partners, and staff in a positive, collaborative manner
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • Experience in the architecture, interior design, or A/E/C industry preferred
  • Proven experience producing marketing materials and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced graphic design skills
  • Strong understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and delivery methods
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills
  • Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Knowledge of firm practice areas, clientele, goals, policies, and procedures (or ability to quickly learn)
  • Photography skills a plus
