Job Description

Havas Media Network North America is hiring a Paid Search Specialist to lead the team in the analysis, optimization, and management of client accounts. The role includes daily client contact, providing data‑driven insights, and delivering recommendations to monitor and improve campaign performance.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the day-to-day client contact for performance media accounts.
  • Provide data to support insight derivation and performance monitoring.
  • Proactively recommend strategies to ensure campaigns meet or exceed goals.
  • Analyze and boost campaign performance continuously.
  • Independently manage smaller, less demanding clients when required.
A Day in the Life

Campaign Management

  • Keyword performance and ad copy development.
  • Set up and manage campaigns across Google & Microsoft, ensuring proper account structure, ad creation, budget management, reporting, industry considerations, landing pages, and tracking.
  • Explore additional vendors that could add value.
  • Oversee daily spend to align with targets and budgets.
  • Utilize bid management tools for keyword, ad group, and ad optimization.
  • Collaborate with Analysts on testing and optimization ideas.
  • Support strategic development and account forecasting.
  • Ensure quality assurance of deliverables.

Bid Management & Optimization

  • Manual bid optimization.
  • Use Kenshoo, SA360, and Marin to meet client targets.
  • Manage budgets to match forecasts and plans.
  • Ad optimization, new ad creation, and regular A/B testing.
  • Competitor monitoring and trend analysis.
  • Create and maintain accurate reporting for clients and KPIs.
  • Analyze performance data in daily, weekly, and monthly reports to drive optimization decisions.
  • Provide insight on performance reports to clients regularly.
  • Present performance updates regularly and on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Accurate and timely billing and reconciliation.

  • Proactively support colleagues on other client accounts.
  • Continuously seek learning opportunities to develop skill set.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and SA360 (highly preferred).
  • Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills.
  • 1-3 years of paid search experience.
  • Attention to detail, strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
