About the Role:

We are looking for a proven leader to build the Nimble marketing team and execute the scale-up of the department. The VP, Marketing will orchestrate the development of our marketing strategy, create Nimble messaging, establish our GTM programs mix, and execute on marketing programs. This role involves close collaboration with the product and sales teams to define product positioning, establish new vertical products, and drive the adoption of our solutions across various markets.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who thrives as a hands-on builder, with a proven track record in scaling revenue rapidly in a fast-moving startup. Leading with your analytical acumen and customer service mindset, you will establish and execute the GTM strategy for Nimble as a key member of our leadership team.

What You’ll be Doing:
  • Lead the marketing department, setting its vision and strategy aligned with the overall business goals. Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop strategic marketing plans that drive growth and enhance market share.
  • Oversee the product marketing strategy, including market research, product positioning, go-to-market execution, and partner collaboration.
  • Establish packaging and positioning of platform use cases, identifying and prioritizing high-converting use cases from existing customers and strategic use cases to achieve expansion and growth goals; and developing the ICPs, key personas, and messaging.
  • Lead the execution of marketing activities, including demand generation, content marketing, sales enablement programs, campaigns, and brand management.
  • Own the pipeline number, define the growth plan, and leverage data & analytics to drive net new and expansion pipeline across all segments and the entire customer lifecycle. Establish key sales funnel success metrics and track progress consistently.
  • Work with partners to enhance go-to-market strategies and broaden market reach.
  • Build a global marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Control budgets and allocate resources among projects.
What You Should Have for the Role:
  • 5+ years of well-rounded marketing leadership experience, ideally having scaled a successful, high-growth marketing team.
  • Proven experience in revenue marketing with a focus on driving measurable results in B2B, SaaS products.
  • Proven experience as a strong storyteller, establishing the brand narrative, competitive product positioning, and key messages to distinct audiences.
  • Experience in selling platforms with a strong understanding of how to effectively market platform solutions in competitive environments.
  • Account-based marketing experience, with proven ability to drive revenue growth from enterprise buyers.
  • Experience at a company scaling from $10M to $30M ARR, working with enterprise customers and partners, demonstrating the ability to navigate and excel in fast-growing business environments.
  • Extensive experience in product marketing, with a deep understanding of modern product marketing principles, including product-led growth, customer journey mapping, and data-driven storytelling.
