Content Marketing Specialist – Hybrid NYC 80k-90k Position Overview

A leading law firm with a global client base is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support the execution of the firm's marketing, social media, communications, and business development initiatives.

This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role responsible for developing presentations and marketing materials, supporting social media content and analytics, maintaining the firm's website and digital marketing channels, coordinating email marketing campaigns, managing CRM data and reporting, and assisting with business development initiatives.

Success in this role requires a combination of creativity, technical proficiency, and operational excellence. The Marketing Specialist must be comfortable managing multiple priorities, supporting senior leadership, maintaining accurate data and reporting, and producing polished, professional work across digital, print, and client‑facing marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Materials & Presentation Development

    Create and maintain client‑facing presentations, pitch decks, sponsorship presentations, attorney speaking materials, internal reports, and other high‑impact visual communications.

  • Support light graphic design, image editing, video editing, and formatting projects using Canva, Cap Cut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative platforms.

  • Ensure all marketing materials are visually compelling, brand‑compliant, accurate, and delivered with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Social Media & Digital Marketing

    Support the planning, scheduling, publishing, and reporting of content across the firm's social media channels.

  • Website & Email Marketing

    Manage website content updates, including attorney biographies, news items, practice area content, event pages, and other firm announcements.

    Coordinate the distribution of newsletters, client alerts, invitations, and other email marketing campaigns.

    Manage audience segmentation, mailing lists, and quality‑control processes to ensure accurate and effective communication.

    Track and report on campaign performance, engagement metrics, and other key marketing indicators.

  • CRM Management & Reporting

    Maintain and update contact records, relationship data, activities, and engagement history within the firm's CRM platform.

    Support CRM adoption and assist with contact management, audience segmentation, list creation, and data quality initiatives.

    Generate reports, dashboards, and analytics to support marketing, business development, events, sponsor ships, and client engagement activities.

  • Business Development Support

    Support the preparation of pitches, proposals, RFP responses, client development materials, and other business development initiatives.

    Conduct research on prospective clients, industries, competitors, and market trends to support growth opportunities.

    Maintain business development calendars, trackers, and supporting documentation to ensure timely execution of initiatives.

  • Events, Communications & Content Support

    Assist with the planning and execution of conferences, webinars, client events, sponsorship activations, and speaking engagements.

    Draft, edit, proofread, and quality‑check newsletters, invitations, website content, attorney announcements, social media content, and other marketing communications.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, or marketing operations, preferably within a law firm, professional services, consulting, financial services, or other client‑service environment.
    • Experience creating presentations, pitch decks, marketing collateral, reports, and other client‑facing materials.
    • Experience supporting social media management, analytics, digital marketing, email marketing, newsletters, and website content management.
