Audience Development Manager

Vine Pair is looking for a motivated Audience Development Manager to join our team. We’re interested in someone who is excited about working in digital media, resourceful, and passionate about our brand. If this is you—plus you love the world of drinks—and you have experience in marketing and/or audience development and engagement, we should talk. This position will oversee Vine Pair’s presence across channels, including social media platforms (with emphasis on You Tube and Instagram) and email newsletter, with the ultimate goals of growing our audience and increasing our engagement for each. This person should be ready to experiment in the name of growth, aware of the latest updates and best practices for each platform and its impact on performance, and tapped into emerging marketing trends.

We are looking for a data-driven candidate who’s a hard worker with a great attitude and a knack for generating endless ideas. The ideal person is passionate about Vine Pair’s mission, “Drinking is Culture,” and will contribute their creativity to continue to grow this dynamic publication. We believe that Vine Pair produces the best content in the drinks media space and we’re looking for a person to maximize the audience it reaches.

• Devise comprehensive marketing strategy for Vine Pair’s content, including articles, podcasts, videos, and more
• Develop comprehensive promotion plans for Vine Pair’s feature and tentpole packages
• Produce and/or schedule content for Vine Pair’s social media channels
• Review clips and videos for channel optimization (You Tube, Instagram)
• Oversee email newsletter production and strategy and experiment/innovate where appropriate
• Contribute platform-specific ideas that align with editorial themes and programming
• Manage and collaborate with Vine Pair’s social media content creator
• Contribute to branded content/partnerships as needed

• 3+ years of professional marketing and/or audience development experience at a media company
• Professional experience with You Tube, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Google Discover, Apple News and their respective analytics tools
• Proven experience growing a You Tube audience
• Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience managing people a plus

• Must be able to work 4 days a week in our NYC offices
