Position Overview

The Marketing VP will play a critical role in Consello’s high-performing marketing function, working closely with the Founder, partnership team and business leads to advance the firm’s visibility and reputation amongst C-suite executives, board members, and the broader business community. Reporting directly to the CMO, this person will help shape how Consello shows up in the market, translating the firm’s expertise, relationships, and operator-led perspective into best-in-class content, experiences, and programs that resonate with the world’s most influential leaders.

We are looking for a versatile, growth-minded marketer who is equally strong in strategy and execution. The ideal candidate can move fluidly across the full marketing mix and knows how to deploy the right channels, from executive thought leadership and events to digital, social, and email, to build brand equity and drive growth. This person thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments, is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, and brings the judgment and polish required to represent a firm that works at the highest levels of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute firm-wide events and marketing-led growth initiatives, including exclusive executive experiences, salon dinners, regional launches, and hospitality moments that deepen relationships and drive new business development
  • Support podcast production and content amplification, including editorial planning, guest sourcing, production coordination, and distribution across all relevant channels
  • Manage and optimize the firm s thought leadership program, including industry perspectives, white papers and other content that reinforces Consello s expertise and market positioning
  • Design and execute email and social amplification strategies targeting clients, prospects, media, and internal audiences, ensuring consistent messaging and cadence across all touchpoints
  • Define and enforce brand standards, consistency, and governance across all firm communications, materials, and external-facing assets, serving as the internal steward of the Consello brand
  • Serve as an internal marketing partner to practice leads and the broader partner team, translating business priorities into compelling marketing programs and campaigns
  • Build and manage agency and vendor relationships across creative, digital, and events, ensuring high-quality output and cost efficiency
  • Embrace a startup mentality - wear multiple hats, move quickly, and bring creative energy to every aspect of the Consello marketing function
Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; concentration in Marketing or a related field preferred
  • 8-10 years of marketing experience, ideally within professional services, financial services, consulting, or a high-growth advisory or B2B environment
  • Proven experience across brand-to-demand marketing with a demonstrated ability to own multiple channels simultaneously, from content creation and social media to events and email
  • Deep expertise in content development, editorial strategy, and thought leadership; exceptional writer and storyteller with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives
  • Strong command of social media strategy (Linked In in particular) and email marketing best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, and performance measurement
  • Event planning and management experience, including firm-hosted dinners, launches, and proprietary programming for senior executive audiences
  • Comfort working directly with and presenting to senior leadership, partners, and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Track record of building marketing programs from the ground up and delivering measurable results in a team-oriented environment
