Capital V is hiring a media-driven Senior Associate to help lead earned comms for a portfolio of high-growth clients. You’ll shape narratives, pitch top-tier outlets, and serve as a trusted partner to founders and operators. Ideal candidates bring a sharp news sense, strong writing, and 3+ years of Public Relations (PR) or Journalism experience.

You’ll own the full media execution for high-growth clients—helping shape how founders show up in the press and driving visibility where it matters most.

• Media Relations
  :
  Pitch and secure coverage across Bloomberg, WSJ, Tech Crunch, Axios, and others
• Narrative Development
  :
  Translate founder POVs into smart, compelling storylines
• Press Materials
  :
  Draft press releases, backgrounders, messaging, and prep docs
• Reporter Relationships
  :
  Cultivate a growing network of media contacts
• Client Strategy
  :
  Support media and visibility plans for launches, fund raises, and special projects
• Special Projects
  :
  Craft investor decks, op-eds, and rapid-response press for fund raises/launches

• 3-4 years in financial/tech PR or journalism (agency experience ideal), with a portfolio of earned media wins
• Skilled writer and communicator with sound editorial judgment
• Self-starter with an eye for what’s newsworthy and timely
• Excited to grow fast, take ownership, and learn at the founder level
