Position: Growth Programs Lead
Location: New York

As a Growth Programs Lead on the Growth Marketing team, you will act as a force multiplier in accelerating MongoDB’s PLG‑led self‑serve business. This role supports organizational clarity, drives high‑impact cross‑functional initiatives, strengthens operational rigor, and amplifies the narrative and effectiveness of the Growth Marketing function. You’ll adapt to play different roles in different projects. You’ll lead various one‑off special projects, translate high‑level concepts into structured programs, formulate decision‑ready recommendations, and represent Growth Marketing in cross‑functional forums.

You’ll own the operating cadence and track progress on key metrics for the self‑serve business: weekly business reviews, quarterly planning, retros, OKR alignment, annual planning and cross‑functional syncs, and build lightweight processes that increase velocity and accountability; dismantle or streamline processes that no longer scale.

You’ll assist in drafting executive‑ready content for senior leadership, develop mechanisms for sharing Growth’s learnings across the organization, as well as systems to take others’ learnings as inputs to our roadmaps. You’ll synthesize data, insights, and product signals into clear narratives that support decision‑making. This role supports organizational clarity, drives high‑impact cross‑functional initiatives, strengthens operational rigor, and amplifies the narrative and effectiveness of the Growth Marketing function.

This is a highly visible role that requires a change agent with natural leadership skills and the ability to work across multiple teams with members at different levels. You are adept at thinking strategically and tactically to get things done by collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including Product Management, Data Analytics, Developer Relations, Acquisition, Web, and Product Marketing.

We are looking for an individual who is a problem solver, detail‑oriented, collaborative, creative, data‑driven, strategic, organized, and a trusted partner.

In particular, you will:
  • Lead special projects
  • Translate high‑level concepts into structured programs, proposals, and decision‑ready recommendations
  • Own the operating cadence for the business: weekly business reviews, quarterly planning, retros, OKR alignment, and cross‑functional syncs
  • Build lightweight processes that increase velocity and accountability; dismantle or streamline processes that no longer scale
  • Track progress on key PLG/growth metrics and ensure insights reach the right owners
  • Draft executive‑ready content for senior leadership
  • Drive collaboration with cross‑functional teams to both bring Growth Marketing’s learnings across the org and to leverage insights from other teams in our tactics
  • Synthesize data, insights, and product signals into clear narratives that support decision‑making
We’re looking for someone with
  • 6-8 years of experience in program management within growth marketing, product marketing, product management, strategy, business operations, consulting, or similar;
Experience in PLG, SaaS, or developer/technical audiences is a plus.
  • Strong bias for action and ability to create clarity from ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An owner mentality - you take complete ownership of your tasks and champion efforts to get them to completion.
  • Ability to context‑switch between strategic thinking and operational detail.
  • High EQ, executive presence, and storytelling fluency.
