The Role

We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial‑minded product marketer to identify, test, and scale our next wave of growth bets to support Uber for Business. The role focuses on seeding new use cases, developing compelling solution narratives, and driving early adoption across key emerging opportunities such as automotive, group transportation, kiosks, hospitality, and airports. You’ll combine deep customer research with sharp go‑to‑market execution, turning insights into scalable solutions that expand our footprint and help us become the vendor of choice in industries like automotive, hospitality, and entertainment.

This cross‑functional role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and customer experience, giving you the opportunity to turn ambiguity into action and ideas into impact by defining how we win in new and emerging markets.

What You’ll Do
  • Cross‑functional Leadership:
    Influence how cross‑functional groups position new verticals on our platform, partnering closely with sales, business development, and operations to create new and consistent messaging.
  • Messaging & Positioning:
    Develop and validate compelling solution narratives for each emerging bet, translate complex insights into clear positioning by segment and persona, and refine storytelling to address competitive gaps.
  • Go‑to‑Market Excellence:
    Define and execute GTM strategies for priority bets, partner with sales and enablement to deliver toolkits that drive conversion and adoption, and optimize sales motions through messaging tests, pilots, and ongoing feedback loops.
  • Global Leadership:
    Develop scalable frameworks that adapt across P0 and P1 countries, partner with regional teams to tailor GTM strategies to local market nuances, and ensure consistency in messaging, measurement, and execution across geographies.
  • Research & Insights:
    Lead audience discovery for new use cases, conduct market, competitive, and customer research to inform GTM priorities, and use data‑driven insights to inform prioritization, messaging, and performance measurement.
Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of marketing experience delivering highly successful engagement and acquisition strategies for businesses, with at least 2 years specifically in B2B product marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to articulate the essence of complex products and the value they create, and develop strong messaging hierarchy and content strategy.
  • Proven experience developing industry‑narratives and translating complex product suites into solution stories for different verticals.
  • Willingness and know‑how to deeply understand the market, customers, and competition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive leadership.
  • Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions.
  • Strong analytical skills—uses data to create insightful stories, inform strategies, and guide decision making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a large number of teams across multiple countries, time‑zones, backgrounds, and functions to push projects to completion.
  • Hard‑working, detail‑oriented, organized, and motivated self‑starter who enjoys challenges and is not deterred by complex situations.
  • Experience working on products for enterprise or SMBs.
  • Previous experience in the tech or SaaS industry.

For New York, NY‑based roles, the base salary range is $140,000–$155,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA‑based roles the range is the same. All full‑time employees are eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, may be offered an equity award and other types of compensation, and are eligible for a 401(k) plan and various benefits.
