What you’ll need to succeed as a Social Media Manager at XPO

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5yearsof experience in social media, contentcreationor digital communications
  • Proven success managing and growing corporate social media channels with a strong understanding of platform-specific strategies and content best practices
  • Ability to concept, produce and edit social-first content, including short-form video,photography and graphics
  • Proficiency with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Cap Cutor Canva , as well as social media management and analytics platforms like Sprout or Hootsuite
  • Strong editorial judgment, writing skills and analytical mindset, with the ability to turn performance insights into strategic recommendations and content optimization
  • Experience collaborating with executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to capture content at company locations,eventsand customer sites
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in B2B, transportation or logistics
  • Experience with paid social, social listening or influencer campaigns

What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Develop and execute XPO’s social media strategy across Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, You Tube,Xand emerging platforms
  • Build channel-specific strategies that align with business priorities, audiencebehaviorsand platform best practices
  • Create annual and quarterly social media roadmaps, editorialcalendarsand campaign plans
  • Identifyandseize opportunities to elevate XPO’s brand, frontline culture, operationalexpertiseand executive thought leadership
  • Monitor social trends, platform updates and emerging content formats to continuouslyevolve strategy
Create Engaging Content
  • Conceptualize,capture and produce social-first content including short-form video(Reels,UGC-style content),photographyandsocialgraphics
  • Partner across the business to bringcustomer stories,frontlineoperations, recruiting initiatives and company events to life on social channels
  • Support executive visibility by developing content for company leaders and subject matter experts
Manage Channels & Community Engagement
  • Oversee day-to-day publishing,scheduling and community management acrossXPO’ssocial channels
  • Engage with audiences ina timely,professional and brand-appropriate manner
  • Ensure content is aligned with brand standards, legalguidelinesand company messaging
  • Establishclear governance and approvalprocesses for content planning,approval sand production
Drive Performance & Insights
  • Track and analyze social media performance across channels,campaignsand content formats
  • Translate analytics into actionable recommendations that improve engagement, reach and business impact
  • Develop regular reporting for leadership on KPIs, trends, audiencegrowthand content performance
  • Test andoptimizecreative approaches, messaging and posting strategies based on performance insights

Annual Salary Range: $109,960 to $137,449 Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. This is an incentive-based position, which may include bonuses, incentive or commission plans.
