Are you our next Social Media Superhero? The Justine Lackey, LLC Media team is looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Manager to help bring our message, mission, and magic into the world. This position involves content planning and creation, platform management, engagement, analytics tracking, and collaborating closely with our internal team to support campaigns, program launches, and community growth.
JOB DESCRIPTIONOur ideal candidate lives and breathes social media trends, understands the unique needs of online education brands, and can turn content ideas into scroll-stopping posts that inspire, educate, and convert. You will work directly with Justine Lackey (founder) and our Ops Leader to amplify our brand presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, You Tube, and Linked In.
This role requires a balance of creativity and strategy – you’ll ideate, plan, create, schedule, and analyze content while staying aligned with our company’s voice and values. The ideal candidate should be located in the New York City Metropolitan area, Hudson Valley or Westchester, as you’ll most likely meet with Justine to film content locally. The position is on a contract basis;
meetings occur during EST business hours. Our superhero will be available to meet at least 1–2x per week for content reviews, strategy updates, and co-working sessions.
This position requires roughly 10–20 hours per month
, depending on our campaign and launch calendar. Preference is for an hourly rate; retainers are challenging to scale with fluctuating workload. This is an hourly based, contract position. The rate per hour begins at $35 but may be higher for highly qualified and experienced candidates.
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content across social platforms
- Maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic and tone across all posts
- Develop monthly content calendars aligned with launches and initiatives
- Implement organic social growth strategies
- Write compelling captions and micro-content that drive engagement and conversion
- Manage comments, DMs, and community interaction in alignment with brand voice
- Track and report platform analytics and performance metrics
- Collaborate with the team on promotions, lead magnets, and campaign support
- Stay current with platform trends and recommend innovative opportunities
- Use AI to maximize efficiency and output without compromising quality.
You should possess the following strengths and skills :
- Strong understanding of social media strategy and consumer behavior
- Ability to plan and execute consistent content across multiple platforms
- Experience with analytics tools and performance reporting
- Strong writing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and storytelling
- Ability to translate brand values into meaningful content
- Graphic design and/or basic video editing experience (Canva, Cap Cut, etc.)
- Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines within a fast-moving digital business
- Experience working with online educators, coaches, or digital product businesses a plus
- Understanding of Kajabi + KIT ecosystem is a bonus (but not required)
