Antenna Group In-person
· New York, NY, US 2 days ago
Antenna is an integrated marketing and communications agency focused on climate, real estate, mobility, health, and more. We combine deep domain knowledge with proven integrated marketing solutions to help innovative, impact-driven companies amplify their vision, supercharge their growth, and inspire action. We believe that conscious brands can deliver consequential change because brand impact demands brand cognizance.
We are looking for an individual who can contribute a diverse perspective and new ideas to the Antenna community. We celebrate differences among our staff and encourage everyone to be their authentic selves. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and remain committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, supportive, and respectful environment where each Ant feels a sense of dignity, belonging, and acceptance.
This internship is for the curious, the ambitious, and the self-starters who learn by doing and aren’t afraid to jump in. You’ll be in the work: contributing to client campaigns, shaping narratives, and helping build the kind of integrated communications strategies that move brands forward.
Program Details- Duration: 4-month internship program
- Dates: September 1 – December 31, 2026
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Location: On-site at Antenna's New York City office, 3 days/week in-office
- Compensation: This is a paid internship. The hourly rate for this role is $17–$20/hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
- Support live client work across public relations, digital, and creative — contributing to campaigns that span earned media, content, and paid performance channels
- Build and maintain media lists that the team actually relies on to track coverage, contacts, and campaign momentum
- Monitor news cycles and social conversations to surface the moments that matter and flag them for the team in real time
- Draft social content and communications materials that are sharp, on-brand, and ready to use (not just a starting point)
- Prepare reports and summaries that synthesize information clearly and help clients understand what’s working
- Research opportunities — industry awards, events, speaking opportunities, and emerging trends — that help position Antenna’s clients as voices worth listening to
- Participate in internal strategy sessions and client meetings — as a contributor, not a spectator
- How earned media, creative, and performance marketing work together — and how to think across multiple disciplines
- The full lifecycle of a client campaign, from brief through measurement
- How integrated agency teams are structured, how decisions get made, and how great work gets done
- Media relations fundamentals: how to build a list, craft a pitch, and understand what journalists and editors actually want
- The tools, frameworks, and instincts that shape a career in modern communications
- Curiosity that shows up. You’re drawn to ideas, trends, and conversations across industries — and you bring what you find into your work.
- Clear, confident communication. You write well, you listen actively, and you know how to tailor your message to your audience.
- Attention to detail without losing the bigger picture. You catch what others miss, and you understand why it matters.
- Initiative over instruction. You don’t wait to be told what to do next — you ask questions, spot gaps, and move.
- Comfort with ambiguity. Agency life moves fast. You adapt, prioritize, and figure it out.
- AI-native instincts. You already use AI tools in how you work and learn — and you're eager to bring what you know to shape the future of work.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and social platforms; experience with media monitoring or CMS tools is a plus, not a requirement.
- Currently pursuing — or recently completed — a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Collaborative, proactive, and persistent mindset.
- Curious nature and the desire to challenge the status quo.
- Passion for Antenna’s sectors…
