Job SummaryThe Marketing Director will own the full scope of the marketing function, from tactical execution to the development of an overall marketing strategy. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining print and digital marketing materials; developing content for internal company communications; and supporting senior leadership in business development specifically around request for proposal process. The main focus of this role will be to win project awards by executing unique, creative marketing materials;
including proposals, presentations and qualifications packages that present UAG in the most favorable light to potential clients.
- Manage weekly company pursuits, proposals, presentations, etc.
- Generate, investigate, and track project leads.
- Collaborate with Senior Management to define positioning and develop a marketing strategy
- Produce a comprehensive suite of print and digital marketing materials.
- Help maintain and enhance the online reputation of UAG.
- Drive the proposal process from RFP analysis and planning to production of proposal materials. A focus on effective strategies to win work while consistently branding UAG.
- Lead various PR efforts to grow company awareness.
- Develop and execute market research projects.
- Maintain and enhance website content and design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years marketing experience.
- Prior experience within the construction or related industry highly preferred.
- Must have In-Design software experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be tactful, respectful, influential, and diplomatic when dealing with clients, subcontractors and co-workers.
- Must be able to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
