  • Identify opportunities to extend the commercial life of books through advertising campaigns, seasonal promotions, retailer programs, creative partnerships, and trend driven activations.
  • Analyze marketplace trends, consumer behavior, competitive activity, and sales data to inform campaign decisions.
  • Partner with Sales teams to support retailer initiatives, promotional opportunities, merchandising programs, and account-specific marketing efforts.
  • Partner with Publicity to amplify media, author, and event opportunities that can drive sustained sales.
  • Monitor title performance and proactively recommend tactics to drive continued growth.
  • Leverage social media, influencer partnerships, content marketing, email marketing, and community engagement initiatives to expand audience reach.
  • Coordinate with brand, education, and library teams when applicable to support broader market opportunities.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, sales trends, and key marketing metrics.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive sales growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales and consumer data.
  • A genuine interest in children's and young adult books, authors, readers, and marketplace trends.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and prioritizing spend based on business impact.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new applications and systems.
