The New York Post Internship Program offers a dynamic, hands‑on experience that places interns in real‑world media and news work. The program includes career‑building masterclasses and a chance to build lasting relationships with peers and leaders.
Part‑time Commerce Editorial Intern (24 hrs/week) from September 14, 2026 to November 20, 2026 in our Midtown Manhattan office. Open to current juniors, seniors, MA students and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.
Responsibilities- Research and identify potential coverage opportunities informed by sales, performance data and emerging consumer trends.
- Optimize existing content in collaboration with editors, including updating articles, refreshing affiliate links and enhancing overall monetization strategy.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with commerce partnerships and social media marketing/distribution interns to execute campaigns and support shared initiatives.
- Leverage performance data and analytics to inform strategy, identify growth opportunities and support revenue‑driving editorial decisions.
- Support editorial operations and team organization, helping streamline workflows and maintain efficient content processes.
- Write smart commerce editorial content as needed to achieve revenue‑based KPIs.
- Commercially minded with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in G‑Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
- Undeniable passion for e‑commerce, digital sales and building relationships with brands.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Eager to learn more about the intersection of media, e‑commerce and digital content strategies.
Base pay range: $20/hour for this part‑time role.
