Senior Content Strategist — Health & Science

Digital Pulp is seeking a senior content strategist for a health and science website project, a large, content-heavy platform rebuild starting this fall. This is a strategy and architecture role, not a content creator. You'll own the content model, taxonomy, and search and AI-visibility strategy that make a complex, multi-audience site work.

• Content modeling for a component-based CMS, structured so a single update surfaces everywhere it belongs
• Taxonomy architecture that surfaces stories, profiles, and program content programmatically, and holds up across sub-brands
• SEO and AEO strategy: structured data and schema, semantic architecture, redirect strategy that protects hard-won search equity, and content built to be surfaced by AI systems, not just Google
• Content governance for a complex organization: models, standards, and workflows the in-house team can run after launch

• 7+ years in content strategy, with lead ownership of content architecture on large web builds or migrations
• Health, science, or medicine domain experience (pharma works)
• Real command of SEO and AEO, structuring content for AI discoverability, not keywords alone
• Mastery of content strategy and content design in component-based CMS websites (Drupal a plus)
• Content governance experience in complex organizations

• Research institutions, academic medical centers, or scientific publishing clients
• Familiarity with AI-visibility tools (Scrunch, SEM Rush, and similar)
