- Salary range of $75,000 - $90,000
This hire will play a pivotal role in the development of our agency, and will include responsibilities like:
- Manage client accounts and serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and ensuring high-quality service
- Support and train junior staff and direct reports to foster their growth, including effective delegation
- Build and maintain press relationships to create and place compelling stories that yield media coverage in line with client priorities; execute national and local media relations strategies across channels (print, digital, broadcast, radio, newsletters and more)
- Produce differentiated, compelling pitches with excellent strategic and press-facing writing skills
- Build strategic media, event and awards lists and submissions
- Write and oversee the development of external materials including briefing and messaging documents, reports, strategies and press updates
- Manage client projects from start to finish and closely track ongoing media strategies for announcements, evergreen storytelling and thought leadership opportunities that align with our client objectives and drive measurable results
- Participate in the development of materials for new business opportunities including proposals, decks and case studies
- Possess a strong working knowledge of your client business, competitors and relevant industry bodies
