Senior Associate – Thought Leadership & Product Content Position Overview

The Senior Associate, Thought Leadership & Product Content plays a key role in developing investment-focused content that supports product positioning, client engagement, and broader marketing initiatives. Working closely with investment professionals and cross-functional teams, this individual will help create compelling content that communicates market perspectives, investment strategies, and product capabilities to institutional and intermediary audiences.

This position is well suited for a strong writer with experience in financial markets who can transform complex investment concepts into clear, engaging, and informative content. The role combines research, writing, content strategy, and project coordination to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials that reinforce the firm's investment expertise and brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, research analysts, risk professionals, and marketing partners to develop content that accurately reflects investment strategies and market insights.
  • Create, edit, and refine a variety of investment-related materials, including white papers, market commentaries, articles, product overviews, presentations, client communications, and sales collateral.
  • Conduct research on economic developments, market trends, industries, investment themes, portfolio holdings, and competitive activity to support content development.
  • Analyze and synthesize information from internal research and external data sources to develop accurate and compelling messaging.
  • Support the planning and execution of the editorial pipeline by coordinating deadlines, tracking projects, and maintaining content schedules.
  • Monitor industry developments, competitor communications, and evolving investor interests to identify opportunities for new thought leadership initiatives.
  • Review content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, formatting, and adherence to internal quality and compliance standards.
  • Partner with marketing and distribution teams to develop materials that support product launches, client meetings, fundraising efforts, and ongoing business development initiatives.
  • Ensure all published materials maintain a consistent voice, messaging framework, and investment narrative across multiple communication channels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Journalism, English, Communications, History, or a related discipline.
  • Five or more years of experience in investment communications, financial writing, investment research, asset management marketing, or financial journalism.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with the ability to communicate sophisticated financial topics effectively.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, investment products, portfolio management concepts, and economic trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert complex financial analysis into concise, audience-appropriate content.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate, polished work under tight deadlines.
