Artichoke Dance Company seeks to hire a part-time Company Manager for hybrid marketing, administration, and event support.

About

the Company Manager position:

This part-time position involves coordination, communication, and management of company needs, including social media and marketing management, and occasional weekend and evening commitments. Ideal candidates are nimble wearing different hats and enjoy creative administration.

Required skills for the position include:

Knowledge of how to strategize and schedule a multi-platform digital marketing plan
Experience with graphic design for digital and print purposes (using photoshop, canva, or a similar software)
Ability to edit video and audio for social media and longer form content for Vimeo and Youtube (using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, iMovie, or similar software)
Familiarity with google products like gmail, google docs, google drive, etc.
Comfortability with filming social media content and other archival video material at public events, performances, and rehearsals
Experience with writing copy for press releases, e-newsletters, and other public facing platforms

Additional responsibilities that the Company Manager would be responsible for include:

Analyzing social media analytics and trends
Making updates to a pre-existing Squarespace website
Managing and mentoring interns
Comfortability with speaking to members of the public at events and performances

Responsibilities and Time Breakdown:

The position is available for 10-15 hours of hybrid work per week. This schedule is extremely flexible and responsibilities may increase in the summer season or other times that the company is very busy.

An estimate of how the Company Manager would manage their time is as follows:

50% social media management
10% graphic design and video editing
10% general marketing planning and management
10% intern management and mentorship
10% outreach and communications
10% miscellaneous administration and event support needs

Beginning salary is $24/hour with incremental increases throughout the first year.
