Location: New York
Super exciting opportunity to work with a US Owned Home Fashions company that is growing! Been in business for 45 years. Works with numerous product categories in soft home. Great office environment and good benefits. This is NOT a WFH situation. This company is in the office 5 days a week. Room for growth.
Key Responsibilities Brand DNA & Identity Development- Interpret and define brand DNA for new and existing licensed brands and partnerships, ensuring creative output is consistent with the spirit and equity of each brand
- Develop and maintain brand style guides covering logo usage, visual hierarchy, color palettes, typography, photography style, and tone of voice
- Partner with external brand and licensor creative teams to align on brand standards, approval processes, and creative direction
- Translate brand guidelines into actionable design direction for internal design teams across product categories
- Lead packaging design strategy and execution across assigned brands, ensuring on‑brand, retail‑ready presentation by channel and category
- Provide product design styling direction by category, ensuring product assortments reflect current market trends and brand positioning
- Review and approve creative work from internal design teams to ensure brand consistency and trend relevance
- Monitor home textiles and home décor market trends, competitive landscape, and retail environments to inform brand and product direction
- Translate trend insights into seasonal direction for design, packaging, and product teams
- Serve as the primary brand point of contact for internal design, packaging, sales, product development, sourcing, and planning teams on brand launches
- Partner with sales teams to develop category sales presentations and sales catalogs that reflect brand positioning and product assortments
- Support new brand launches end‑to‑end - from creative concept through packaging, sell‑in materials, and retail execution
- Collaborate with external licensor teams on approvals, brand compliance, and creative reviews
- Prepare licensing reports with data to track brand performance and inform licensor and leadership conversations
- Develop licensing decks and presentations for internal leadership and external licensor partners
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Brand/Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in brand management and/or graphic design, ideally within licensed consumer products, home textiles, or home décor
- Demonstrated experience developing brand style guides and managing brand identity systems (logo, hierarchy, color, typography)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design and product styling across categories
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and Microsoft 365
- Experience building and maintaining brand calendars in Airtable or for cross‑functional visibility and execution
- Experience working directly with licensors or external brand partners preferred
- Excellent presentation skills, with experience building sales and category catalogs
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple brands and launches simultaneously
- Proficient in leveraging AI and other technology tools to enhance brand strategy, streamline workflows, and automate routine processes with accuracy
- Collaboration is key, and execution is the number one metric
