Marketing Strategy Lead
Location:
5 days/week on-site in New York City or San Francisco Our client is a rapidly growing B2B AI company transforming how leading organizations understand their customers and turn those insights into better business decisions. With significant funding, strong enterprise traction, and adoption across some of the world's most recognized brands, the company is entering an exciting stage of growth. They're looking for a Marketing Strategy Lead to help shape how the company goes to market, experiments with new marketing opportunities, and tells its story to the world.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who combines strong strategic thinking with real marketing experience. You'll take ambiguous ideas and business challenges, create structure around them, determine what the team should test, and turn successful ideas into repeatable programs. You'll also help develop the narratives and content that bring the company's point of view to life across presentations, events, thought leadership, webinars, and other key marketing moments.
You’ll Do
- Lead strategic marketing initiatives from initial idea through testing, execution, and iteration
- Identify new opportunities to drive engagement and lead generation, developing hypotheses and frameworks for what to test and how to measure success
- Build and refine marketing playbooks across channels and programs, including conferences and industry events
- Develop cohesive narratives that translate company strategy, customer insights, and market trends into compelling external stories
- Create executive-ready presentations, speaking materials, thought leadership, webinars, and strategic content
- Partner closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to bring high-impact ideas to market
- Use audience feedback and performance data to understand what's working and continuously improve programs
- Approximately 4–7 years of experience across B2B marketing, marketing strategy, product marketing, consulting, or related roles
- Prior hands‑on marketing experience is required; experience in management/strategy consulting or marketing consulting is highly valued
- Strong strategic instincts with the ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, including experience developing polished, executive‑level narratives and decks
- Experience with in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, AI, or a high‑growth startup environment is strongly preferred
- A test‑and‑learn mindset — you're comfortable developing a hypothesis, putting something into market, measuring the results, and improving from there
- Highly proactive and comfortable jumping into execution rather than stopping at strategy
- Strong judgment, attention to detail, and a high bar for the quality of your work
- Comfortable operating as an individual contributor in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment
You'll join a well‑funded AI company experiencing significant growth and enterprise adoption, with the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and have a visible impact on the company's next stage. Rather than stepping into a rigid existing playbook, you'll help build the playbook — shaping how the marketing organization experiments, scales successful programs, approaches major industry moments, and communicates the company's story to the market.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic marketer who loves solving ambiguous problems but also wants to roll up their sleeves and see their ideas come to life.
