In this role, you will manage creative assets and launches for paid digital media campaigns for Cross-Channel accounts. You will also be the primary liaison between internal (Communications Design & Partnerships) and external stakeholders (Client Creative Teams, Vendors, and Creative Agencies) to execute approved campaign deliverables.
This role sits at the intersection of Media Planning, Creative, Partnerships, Ad Operations, and Publisher Operations. While you will partner closely with creative teams, your primary responsibility is ensuring creative assets are operationally ready to launch across paid digital advertising campaigns—not developing creative concepts or managing creative production. Successful candidates typically come from backgrounds in Creative Operations, Digital Campaign Management, Media Operations, Ad Operations, Digital Marketing Operations, or agency campaign execution.
Atypical day in this role may include:
- Reviewing media plans to determine creative requirements across multiple digital publishers.
- Building or reviewing creative specification documents and communicating requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating with Client Creative teams, Media Planning, Partnerships, Ad Operations, and publisher partners to ensure creative assets remain on schedule for launch.
- Reviewing HTML5, display, video, audio, and social creative against publisher specifications and brand guidelines.
- QA’ing test pages and creative proofs prior to client approval.
- Managing launch readiness across multiple campaigns while proactively identifying and mitigating execution risks.
- Supporting campaign launches and troubleshooting issues through go-live.
- Manage digital deliverables for a flawless campaign execution.
- Serve as the operational bridge between Client Creative, Media Planning, Digital Partnerships, Ad Operations, Creative Agencies, and Media Partners to ensure successful campaign launches.
- Identify areas of potential risk and implement risk mitigation strategies on all assigned projects.
- Utilize and optimize workload distribution to ensure quality execution and delivery of solutions.
- Work with Digital Partnerships to identify and manage expectations of both internal creative scope documents and external client needs at the project level.
- Communicate potential variances upstream through internal teams in timely fashion.
- Review and maintain documents that define creative scope of work.
- Interpret media plans and publisher specifications to identify creative requirements, technical dependencies, and launch risks.
- Attend & support campaign kick-off meetings/calls by answering creative needs questions and sending recaps.
- Ensure campaign execution process is appropriately followed by craft teams.
- Revaluate SLAs on an as needed basis when given new creative direction from the clients.
- Provide status updates and elevate issues to the Supervisor.
- Process and direct creative assets (key art, images, logos, fonts, videos, and audio) to media partners to create custom ads.
- Maintain asset organization within file storage.
- Communicate and implement clear brand guidelines to media partners creating custom ads.
- Prepare creative trafficking instructions for internal Ad Operations team.
- Review test pages and mocks before sending to clients for creative approval.
- Perform detailed creative QA to validate assets, test pages, proofs, naming conventions, and publisher requirements prior to campaign launch.
- Provide creative status to Digital Partnerships and its impact on launch status.
- Troubleshoot any placement functionality issues and solicit help from Ad Ops when needed.
- Share creative insights during cross-functional meetings.
- Advise on creative feasibility when evaluating new media opportunities.
- Manage multiple concurrent campaign launches across display, video, audio, social, and custom digital advertising executions while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Partner closely with Ad Operations to support trafficking readiness, troubleshoot launch issues, and resolve execution…
