Job Description
Are you passionate about shopping and editorial content in the digital space? The New York Post is looking for a part‑time Commerce Editorial Intern (24 hrs/week) to join our team and gain hands‑on experience in e‑commerce editorial strategy, brand partnerships and data insights. As part of our media company with a dynamic commerce writing team, you will have the chance to dive deep into the e‑commerce world and help with crucial tasks that ensure the success of our expansive commerce content.

This internship is scheduled to run from September 14, 2026 – November 20, 2026. Participants are expected to work part‑time hours and adhere to our on‑site work schedule. Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.

This position requires in‑office attendance at our Midtown Manhattan office.
- Research and identify potential coverage opportunities informed by sales, performance data and emerging consumer trends.
- Optimize existing content in close collaboration with editors, including, but not limited to, updating articles, refreshing affiliate links and enhancing overall monetization strategy.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with our commerce partnerships and social media marketing/distribution interns to execute campaigns and support shared initiatives.
- Leverage performance data and analytics to inform strategy, identify growth opportunities and support revenue‑driving editorial decisions.
- Support editorial operations and team organization, helping streamline workflows and maintain efficient content processes.
- Write smart, commerce editorial content as needed to achieve revenue‑based KPIs.
- Commercially minded with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in G‑Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
- Undeniable passion for e‑commerce, digital sales and building relationships with brands.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Eager to learn more about the intersection of media, e‑commerce and digital content strategies.

Base Pay Range: $20/hour - $20/hour
