Creative Marketing & Social Media Intern (NYC

- Sept 15 through Dec 18, 2026
- Part-time 24 hrs/week over 3-4 days, plus ~2-3 evening live events
- In-person Tue and/or Wed; remote otherwise
- $17/hour + $60/month transportation stipend
- Paired with a marketing team supervisor for onboarding, check-ins, and feedback

OverviewGain hands-on, mentored experience creating content
- Instagram, Facebook, Linked In - capturing footage at live events, editing short-form video, and pitching ideas in a supportive, feedback-driven setting. Ideal for someone curious and creative, with an interest in storytelling and digital media.
- Create and publish social content with team guidance
- Capture photo/bvideo at live events and programs; edit into short-form video for Reels, Tik Tok, and You Tube Shorts
- Assist with the content calendar
- Brainstorm campaign ideas; design simple graphics/ visual assets
- Research social trends and cultural moments for content inspiration
- Support marketing initiatives across live events, podcasts, and other organizational priorities
- Track social/campaign performance basics
- Contribute in team meetings; support other marketing projects as assigned
- Current student or recent grad in Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, Journalism, or related field
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Open to feedback; comfortable juggling projects in a fast-paced setting
- Able to operate camera equipment, sit for extended periods, and travel locally for occasional event coverage
- Video editing skills (Premiere Pro; Cap Cut a plus)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Experience shooting photo/video or creating content for social accounts
- Portfolio of creative work
- Comfortable on camera or conducting interviews
