DutiesAs the Marketing Coordinator, you will coordinate marketing for institutional, exhibition, and program-related marketing efforts with a primary focus on Met Live Arts programs including copywriting, editing, and asset and website production, among other activities. You will be responsible for all marketing materials and strategy for Met Live Arts programming, including materials such as digital programs, event web pages, signage, and print materials such as postcards or direct mail.
You will foster regular and collaborative communication with colleagues in Met Live Arts, Education, Communications, Digital, Visitor Experience, and the Front of House team.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Marketing. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES &
DutiesAssemble all Met Live Arts event information, checking dates, times, and venues, confirming artist details with Met Live Arts Production Manager, and proofing exhibition/gallery information. Write and edit all Met Live Arts program materials (performance program, email newsletter, donor communications, digital advertising, print materials, signs) with an eye toward audience appeal and ticket sales. Work with the Marketing team to develop, design, and produce communications to current Met Live Arts audiences and prospective buyers and suggest potential growth opportunities Oversee publication and distribution of performance videos on the Met’s digital channels.
Manage all web content for Met Live Arts, ensuring updates are reflected across all platforms and stakeholders are informed.
Serve as point person with third party partners, co-producers, and funders as it relates to promotion and marketing of Met Live Arts events. Oversee internal communications with Met colleagues around performances and their impact on operations and visitors. Maintain performance photo archives. Coordinate with the Box Office to receive and report weekly ticket sales, tracking sales projections versus actuals and developing new strategies based on sales goals.
