We are searching for a wine knowledgeable Senior Account Executive to lead accounts in our Italian Wines Division
. The individual selected will have a proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and executing integrated promotional campaigns from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will also have an extensive network of wine industry contacts and be able to consistently land top-tier media placements and marketing efforts.
This is a Full-Time, hybrid role. This position will come into our New York office three times/week.
Salary Range: $74,000 - $83,000, depending on experience
Responsibilities- Account management, including project management to complete deliverables, on-time and with high-quality, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients – fostering strong and collaborative relationships
- Consistent execution of strategic pitch writing and targeting that results in top-tier media placements for our clients
- Strategic marketing support that best supports clients in the market
- Professional interactions with clients, vendors, media, and colleagues
- Provide creative, thoughtful ideas/initiatives relevant to the client (all the while being mindful of budgets and expectations)
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and media coverage to provide strategic insights and recommendations for optimizing client campaigns
- Review writing and media lists of junior staff and provide positive and constructive feedback
- Demonstrate best practices and be an example for junior staff
- Other duties as assigned
- 4+ years of experience in public relations and/or marketing, with a focus on wine & spirits
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and executing integrated PR campaigns from concept to completion.
- Deep understanding of the Italian wine landscape, including industry trends, key players, and regulatory considerations.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences across various channels.
- Strong media relations skills, with a robust network of contacts in relevant trade, consumer, and lifestyle outlets.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, able to develop innovative strategies that differentiate our clients in the market.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
