Senior Event & Account Manager, Events & Partnerships

Location: New York City

Karlitz & Company is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Senior Event & Account Manager to lead high-profile events from ideation through execution
, while managing client relationships and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Lead account strategy and identify and execute sponsorship opportunities and experiential activations
• Oversee communications with clients, partners, and vendors
• Develop proposals for client strategy meetings and annual calendar pitches
• Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
• Lead partner calls and oversee assigned partners in collaboration with clients
• Train, mentor, and guide team members; review and approve work
• Develop client-facing materials, including marketing collateral, event overviews, recap decks, run-of-shows, and guest itineraries
• Co-lead biweekly internal team check-ins and client calls
• Support new business development, including RFPs, outreach, and relationship building
• Other tasks and projects as assigned

• Oversee project planning, including meetings, budgets, contracts, and logistics
• Manage the design and production of printed collateral and signage with vendors
• Oversee on-site execution, including setup and breakdown, registration, gift bags, and hospitality
• Manage fabricators and ensure production accuracy and quality
• Serve as a primary liaison for restaurant partners, venues, hotels, production vendors, clients, and internal teams
• Review and develop production documents, including BEOs, schedules, and other event materials
• Oversee event recaps, budget reconciliation, and post-event deliverables
• Source and produce gift items and oversee the preparation and distribution of gift bags
• Travel frequently, including internationally, and work evenings and weekends as needed

• 4–5 years of account management and event management experience required
  , preferably within an agency, experiential marketing, events, hospitality, or related environment
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead strategy and execution for high-profile events and partnerships
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and contracts
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Agency experience is a plus

• 4–5 years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, partnerships, or a related field
• Experience managing event logistics and production from planning through execution
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools is a plus
• Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally, and work evenings and weekends
• Strong interest in restaurants and culinary experiences; previous experience working with restaurants and/or chefs is a plus

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
