    • Manage the production calendar for the company's biweekly newsletter, ensuring issues are delivered on schedule with accurate content and formatting.
    • Support outreach for sponsored newsletter opportunities by identifying relevant prospects, sending information, and moving conversations forward.
    • Track sponsorship conversations and follow up on outstanding inquiries.
    • Amplify newsletter and sponsored content across Linked In and other relevant channels.
    • Compile basic performance metrics, including open rates, impressions, and click-through rates.
  • Communications & Media Placement:
    • Research and identify relevant media, podcast, speaking, and event opportunities.
    • Draft and send concise pitch emails to journalists, editors, podcast hosts, and event organizers.

    • Coordinate logistics related to events, panels, speaking opportunities, and submissions.
Required Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Marketing and Communications Specialist:

  • Experience executing email outreach campaigns, including sequencing, follow-ups, segmentation, and basic copy adaptation.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce polished, professional emails and short-form copy.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable prioritizing work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-moving environment where work has a direct and visible impact.
