Position: Director, Thought Leader Engagement (H&N) - Northeast
Location: New York

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead national thought leader engagement strategy for pre-launch and potential launch of petosemtamab.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Head & Neck Oncology KOLs, Medical Experts, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor Head & Neck Oncology trends affecting petosemtamab adoption.
  • Serve as primary Genmab contact to external experts.
  • Plan and execute thought leader engagement at major oncology/scientific congresses and conferences.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and evaluate speaker bureau members (per policies/regulations).
  • Deliver a KYSO customer experience via a coordinated One Genmab model across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
  • Gather/synthesize insights to inform brand strategy, launch planning, and customer engagement.
  • Establish processes for sharing field-generated insights cross-functionally; build partnerships and alignment.
  • Manage initiatives, priorities, timelines, agency partners, and budgets; ensure compliant conduct.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years relevant pharma/biotech experience (Director) or 8+ years (Associate Director).
  • Significant oncology experience in marketing/sales/account management/THLE/medical affairs or similar.
  • Track record building relationships with senior external stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.
  • Strong oncology commercialization and customer engagement knowledge.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional work without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication/presentation/relationship and executive-influence skills.
  • Knowledge of legal/regulatory/compliance for HCP engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, travel ~50–60%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PharmD/PhD or similar).
  • Head & Neck Oncology experience (incl. HNSCC), established KOL/ME relationships.
  • Prior thought leader engagement/liaison experience.
  • Oncology pre-launch/launch experience; speaker advisory board and external‑expert program experience.
  • Knowledge of treatment pathways/multidisciplinary care/referral networks.
  • High-growth/emerging biotech experience.
  • Director-level: lead complex national initiatives and mentor.
