Product Marketing Director – Capital Markets

Hybrid 3x per week in NYC only. Base $215k - $230k plus 10 - 15% target bonus. Must have 10+ years of product marketing experience in the Capital Markets industry, preferably with AI, ML, database products, or related software.

Our client is a leading provider of AI powered real-time analytics and historical data management solutions to both the buy and sell sides and is expanding rapidly.

Our client is hiring a a Senior Product Marketing Director with a strong background in product marketing to the Capital Markets sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing products in the AI, machine learning, database, or similar tech sectors to decision makers in Capital Markets. Your role will be pivotal in driving their product strategy, defining market positioning, and leading go-to-market executions for their advanced vector AI and time series database products in the capital markets sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development of and execution of product marketing strategy and value proposition for the suite of solutions in Capital Markets.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to align and prioritize product features, roadmaps, and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the Capital Markets sector in relation to AI, data analytics, and database technologies.
  • Create compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences, differentiates their products in the market, and articulates the unique benefits and capabilities of their technology.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, including cross-functional coordination with product, sales, marketing, partner, and customer success teams.
  • Support analyst relations program through briefing preparation, research submission, and inquiry support.
  • Support Product-Led growth team with market expertise, influencer program collaboration, and community activities.
  • Collaborate with Content Marketing team to craft and develop high-quality content such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, website content, and sales enablement materials.
  • Support Demand Generation team in campaigns for lead acquisition and product adoption.
  • Provide training and support to sales and partner teams, enabling them to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of the products to customers.
  • Support partner acquisition, enablement and co-marketing efforts in order to grow their position in the market.
  • Lead Voice of Customer initiatives to learn from target personas in support of messaging and product needs.
  • Monitor and report on product marketing metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and optimize strategies based on performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience in the Capital Markets industry, preferably with AI, ML, database products, or related software.
  • Proven ability to develop creative and impactful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and presenting complex information clearly.
  • Experience with product launch planning and execution, and familiarity with marketing automation and analytics tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and data-driven, comfortable with making decisions based on metrics and KPIs.
