Social Media Manager

About the Role

Vida Group is seeking a strategic, highly organized, and culturally connected Social Media Manager to lead day-to-day social strategy and execution across multiple owned brands. This role will own social content planning, publishing, copywriting, and performance reporting while helping shape how our brands show up across social.

The ideal candidate understands how to turn brand stories and products into compelling social content that builds awareness, creates relevance, drives consideration, and ultimately supports conversion.

$65,000–$80,000

• Own day-to-day social execution across Instagram, Tik Tok, Pinterest, You Tube, Facebook, and emerging platforms
• Develop and manage monthly content calendars aligned to brand priorities, product launches, campaigns, retail moments, events, giveaways, and influencer activations
• Develop social-first content that balance brand storytelling, product education, cultural relevance, engagement, and performance
• Identify relevant trends, cultural moments, and platform behaviors and determine how to appropriately incorporate them within each brand’s voice
• Write compelling social copy, captions, campaign messaging, and launch language
• Partner with Creative/E-commerce team to develop social-first assets, including video, product-focused content, and platform-specific creative
• Manage real-time social coverage and digital amplification for launches, experiential moments, and brand activations
• Stay current on platform updates, emerging formats, creator behaviors, and social best practices
• Partner with E-commerce and Paid Media to ensure cohesive storytelling and strong paths from social engagement to purchase
• Track and report on social performance, translating insights into actionable recommendations for future content and growth
• Support the broader influencer and affiliate ecosystem by identifying opportunities to amplify creator content across social channels

• 3–5 years of experience in social media, content, or brand marketing, preferably within fashion, beauty, or a similar consumer industry
• Experience managing social calendars and multiple campaigns + brands simultaneously
• Strong copywriting skills with experience writing for social and digital marketing
• Deep understanding of social platforms, content formats, trends, and best practices
• Strong understanding of social analytics and performance metrics?
• Strong creative judgment and an understanding of what makes content compelling on social
• Passion for fashion, culture, storytelling, and social-first brand building
• Ability and willingness to work in-office 4 days per week in Midtown Manhattan
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 2–4x per year for shoots, events, and BTS content capture

• Experience working within a DTC or fashion brand
• Familiarity with content production workflows and social-first creative development
• Experience supporting retail activations and experiential events
• Experience with live selling and social commerce
• Experience working with creators or influencer-generated content
