Job Description & How to Apply Below
  • We’re looking for a Vice President of Communications to make Maven one of the most recognized, trusted, and culturally relevant brands in women’s and family health
  • Maven has spent more than a decade changing how women and families access healthcare
  • Today, we serve millions of members through employers, health plans, and directly as consumers—and we’re entering a new chapter where the opportunity to build Maven’s brand as one people know, trust, and want to be part of is as significant as the opportunity ahead for our business
  • Reporting to the Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO, you’ll lead communications across consumer and corporate PR, social media, executive communications, employer brand, internal communications, and external influence
  • You’ll shape how Maven shows up everywhere from the New York Times and Today Show to Instagram and Tik Tok, Linked In, industry conversations, and our own company meetings
  • You’ll turn our products, members, providers, clients, research, data, and point of view into stories that break through; create cultural moments; and build a community of advocates who help establish Maven and its leaders as defining voices in women’s health
  • Maven’s global communications strategy across consumer and corporate communications, earned media, social media, executive communications, employer brand, internal communications, and external influence
  • A consumer and corporate earned-media strategy that makes Maven part of the cultural conversation around women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, parenting, menopause, weight and metabolic health, and the changing expectations consumers have of healthcare—building relationships across consumer, lifestyle, health, business, technology, and culture
  • Communications-led moments and campaigns around Maven’s products, research, partnerships, data, members, and point of view that break through, create conversation, and build brand awareness
  • Clinical storytelling that turns Maven’s research, outcomes, proprietary data, provider expertise, and member experiences into compelling stories that build trust and differentiate Maven with consumers, employers, health plans, and the broader healthcare community
  • A customer, member, provider, and partner advocacy engine that identifies Maven’s strongest advocates and turns their experiences into earned media, social content, events, peer conversations, case studies, and stories that build both brand and business
  • Maven’s external influence strategy, including events and convenings, conferences, speaking opportunities, awards, and relationships with the creators, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and institutions shaping women’s health
  • Maven’s organic social strategy, building a distinctive voice and point of view rather than simply distributing company news—and understanding how social, creators, executives, members, and earned media can work together to make ideas travel
  • Executive communications and thought leadership for the CEO and executive team, including speeches, media, social, opinion pieces, and major events
  • Maven’s corporate narrative, reputation, and employer brand, ensuring we tell a clear, differentiated story about what we’re building, why it matters, and what it means to build a career here
  • Internal communications, including company-wide meetings, major announcements, and leadership communications that help employees understand where we’re going, why, and what matters most
  • A high-performing communications organization that moves quickly, has exceptional standards, listens closely to the conversations happening around Maven and women’s health, and measures success by impact—not activity
Benefits
  • Weekly breakfast, lunch, and get-togethers
  • 401K matching for US-based employees (immediately…
