About FohrFohr is the creator marketing company for category-leading brands that demand breakthrough work and measurable impact. Our team lives inside emerging culture and identifies rising creators before they go mainstream. We transform influencer marketing from a tactical add-on into a brand and business driver for some of the world's most renowned and beloved brands.
We're building something ambitious, and we're doing it as a smart, powerful, tight-knit, genuinely kind team that takes the work seriously, and is invested in building a collaborative, creative, growth-oriented culture.
AboutThe Role
We're looking for a Director of Strategy to become a leader within our growing strategy discipline. This is a role for someone who is culturally tapped in, both creative and analytical, genuinely excited by the intersection of culture, brands, and creators, and ready to own the thinking on some of our highest-stakes work.
You'll be relied on as a force of creativity and insight, defining and owning client strategy on key accounts across a portfolio that includes major brands in categories like CPG, lifestyle, and dating apps. You'll act as a trusted strategic partner to clients, bringing a clear point of view on culture, consumers, and the creator landscape. You'll also partner closely with our new business team on pitches, our client service team on account growth, and the strategy team on ongoing cultural cartography.
The creator economy is evolving at a pace that rewards people who are curious, adaptable, and energized by staying ahead of the pack. You will help set and raise the bar for what strategy looks like in this industry. If that sounds like you, reach out.
What You'll Do- Report directly to the EVP of Strategy and have one Strategist direct report.
- Define and own client strategy on high-complexity and managed-services accounts, partnering closely with the client services lead to understand client pain points, objectives, and opportunities and how to solve them.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, bringing a clear point of view on culture, consumers, and the creator landscape and communicating complex thinking in a compelling, accessible way.
- Oversee the strategic input and delivery of new business proposals in close partnership with the sales team, from landscape analysis to insight development to creative ideation.
- Set and raise the bar for strategy and creative quality across the team, and navigate misalignment, prioritization, and ambiguity with little friction.
- Cultivate the strategists and strategic thinking around you, investing real time in team growth, development, and motivation.
- Sit on the cross-functional leadership team to shape and actualize the team's vision, values, and operating principles, and bring a clear point of view on how the discipline should grow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on marketing and product initiatives.
- Anticipate industry and team needs, and identify opportunities for impact through research, analysis, insight development, and whitespace identification.
- Formalize new frameworks, plays, and tooling that give the team better and faster ways of working.
- Represent Fohr's strategic point of view externally in select moments.
- A crystal-clear thinker with a deep working knowledge of the creator marketing landscape.
- A concise and persuasive communicator who writes well, presents with authority, and can hold their own in a room with senior clients.
- A cultural cartographer who is deeply curious about people and communities, picks up on shifts others miss, and can turn those observations into meaningful insights for brands.
- A creative and analytical thinker who can develop an original point of view and use research, data, and evidence to prove it out.
- An experienced people developer who takes real pride in growing and training strategists.
- Adaptable by nature, energized rather than unsettled by changing priorities, different clients, and new kinds of problems, and good at making smart calls with imperfect information.
- A low-ego, highly collaborative leader who is curious about other perspectives and knows how to build trust and work effectively across teams.
- Someone who wants to help shape the future of a growing department, and do it somewhere that will invest in them.
- Significant experience in brand…
