You’ll Get To- gain hands-on experience in working in a fast-paced communications team and be at the forefront of multi-channel communications and brand marketing campaigns.
- collaborate with colleagues from across UBS’s Media Relations, Strategic Internal Communications, and Brand Marketing teams, both in the US and globally.
- create content for news articles, intranet pages, newsletters, videos, blog posts and other communication materials for employees across the firm, including editing and writing.
- identify story ideas and key messages on a wide range of topics.
- support a portfolio of projects such as webpage redesigns, communication campaigns, the development of guidelines and the review of intranet-related statistics.
- support the organization and logistics of events e.g. townhalls, leadership events, etc.
- guide stakeholders on how to correctly implement UBS's corporate design and tone of voice guidelines.
You’ll be working in the Americas Communications team in New York which includes specialists in media relations, internal communications, executive communications, and reputation management. This is a diverse team of experts who love what they do and take pride in producing high quality, high impact communications.
Your expertise We’re Looking For a Candidate Who- is graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 and has a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a team player who's able to work independently and think strategically, with strong communication skills
- is self-starter who enjoys thinking creatively and thrives in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
- is a skilled writer with an eye for detail (spotting typos is your second nature)
- is excellent at organizing and coordinating events
- is a master with the Microsoft Office suite of products and willing to learn new technologies that help enable the communications function
- can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
