THE OPPORTUNITYManhattan Strategies is seeking a Senior Associate for Executive Communications to support our client executives across technology, finance and pharma with a focus on Linked In and other social platforms, keynote speeches, byline articles, executive blogs and other speaking and thought leadership vehicles. This person will serve as a trusted partner to client executives and internal teams, helping develop compelling narratives, amplify executive profiles and deploy strategic communications programs that align with business goals and market positioning.

THE ROLEThis is a full-time hybrid role based in New York, NY. The Senior Associate, Executive Communications will play a key role in shaping and amplifying the public profiles of client executives across technology, finance and pharma. Responsibilities include producing Linked In content, speeches, byline articles and other thought leadership materials, along with tracking performance and researching the competitive landscape to keep executive narratives sharp.
The selected candidate will work closely with client and internal teams to plan and execute executive communications programs that support broader business goals.
- Executive Support: Support senior and C-suite client executives in the technology, financial services and other industries, ensuring their communications programs on Linked In, keynote speeches, bylines, blogs, panels and other channels are high-quality, on-message, and strategically aligned.
- Content Production: Own production of executive communications deliverables: drafting, revising and polishing Linked In posts, speeches/talk tracks, byline articles, op-eds, executive blogs, presentation decks, speaker Q&A preparation, etc.
- Campaign
Collaboration:
Collaborate with client and internal teams to plan and execute executive communications campaigns and thought leadership launches. - Strategic Counsel: Provide strategic counsel to client executives on how to shape and optimize their personal/employer brand presence across channels.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance of executive content (engagement, reach, earned media, speaking opportunities) and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Research & Insights: Conduct research on industry trends, competitive executive profiles (in tech, finance, pharma) and audience sentiment to inform executive narratives.
- Enjoy building trusted relationships with senior and C-suite executives and can adapt your approach to each individual's voice and priorities
- Are a sharp, versatile writer who can move fluidly between Linked In posts, speeches, bylines and long-form thought leadership
- Think strategically about executive brand and positioning, not just the next deliverable
- Can turn a business objective into a compelling personal narrative for a senior leader
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive executive positioning across tech, finance and sectors aligned to your clients
- Are comfortable managing multiple executives, work streams and deadlines at once without losing quality
- Collaborate easily across social, design, strategy and analytics teams to bring a campaign together
- Take ownership of your work and hold yourself accountable for polished, on-message output
- 3-5 years of experience in executive communications, thought leadership, corporate communications or related roles, preferably working with senior executives, in a consultancy/agency or in-house at a large corporate environment
- Proven ability to write and edit high-level executive content like Linked In…
