Primis is partnering with a project management platform that teams use to move faster, collaborate better, and get work done. They help companies manage projects, campaigns, approvals, resourcing, time tracking, goals, automation, and AI-powered workflows in one place.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who turns customer reality into compelling stories, webinars, and go-to-market programs. This is not a rigid, framework-only role. We want someone who is genuinely curious about how people use the product, can put themselves in the customer’s shoes, and can ideate creatively with Marketing, Design, CS, Sales, and Engineering.
You’ll sit at the center of product and GTM: host customer-facing webinars, shape narratives around what we build, and help translate product innovation into adoption, expansion, and pipeline. You’ll own meaningful work independently while growing into broader strategic responsibility.
This person should be based in New York City and comfortable working from the NYC office regularly.
What You’ll Do
- Spend time understanding how customers actually work in the product— jobs to be done, friction, “aha” moments — and turn that into positioning, content, and campaign ideas.
- Translate product capabilities into clear customer value, without defaulting to jargon or generic SaaS messaging.
- Build differentiated narratives informed by customer conversations, CS/Sales feedback, product strategy, and market context.
- Spot gaps in how the product shows up externally and proactively create the materials, stories, or programs that fill them.
- Bring customer and market insight into product and GTM discussions — including product ideas, not just messaging.
Webinars, launches & customer marketing
- Own and lead customer-facing webinars end-to-end: topic ideation, speakers, content, attendance, and follow-up.
- Partner with Product early on upcoming releases and shape go-to-market angles that feel useful to customers, not just “feature live.”
- Lead product rollouts from planning through execution and post-launch learning.
- Create launch narratives, customer education, adoption content, and product storytelling (including video around product functionality).
- Support customer marketing moments tied to launches, adoption, expansion, Ambassadors, and relationship-building.
- Manage customer gifts, swag, and related logistics for strategic accounts, launches, events, and appreciation moments.
- Travel occasionally for onsite customer opportunities, conferences, events, and other business needs.
Commercial impact
- Connect your work to measurable outcomes: webinar engagement, adoption, expansion, pipeline, and retention.
- Partner with Sales and CS on how new and existing products should be positioned with real buyers and users.
- Create campaigns that support acquisition, expansion, cross-sell, and product adoption.
- Track what works, learn quickly, and improve the next round—without building process for process’s sake.
Partnering across the Business
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing, Design, Product/Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Equip GTM teams with clear, practical materials when they need them — talk tracks, narratives, collateral — while staying creative and customer-led.
- Keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, timelines, and results.
- Operate with ownership, good judgment, and a bias toward shipping high-quality work quickly.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally spanning product marketing, customer marketing, or creative GTM.
- Experience hosting or leading webinars, customer education sessions, or live product storytelling.
- Strong creative instincts: you can invent an angle, a webinar concept, or a narrative from a customer workflow — not only execute a brief.
