The RoleThis is a high-impact global role within Prestige Care, responsible for leading the development and delivery of the global activation and content strategy for Sebastian Professional—a culturally iconic, stylist-led brand rooted in artistry, individuality, and creative expression.
The Senior Manager plays a critical leadership role in translating global brand strategy into scalable, high-performing activation frameworks, ensuring they are effectively implemented across markets to resonate with both professional hairstylists and consumers worldwide. This requires a strong understanding of the professional hair ecosystem, emerging cultural trends, and the evolving expectations of modern creators and clients.
This role serves as the center of the wheel within the Activation team,partnering across functions to ensure that brand communication, social, influencers/creators, talent, community, events, web, eCommerce, and CRM strategies are aligned to an integrated global activation approach. The Senior Manager supports the development of globally aligned content ecosystems and campaign frameworks, while working closely with markets to enable adoption and local adaptation.
Success in this role requires the ability to operate within a global, matrixed organization, influence stakeholders, and ensure strong, consistent execution across channels and markets.
Success is defined by delivering clear, cohesive, and scalable activation across key consumer and professional touchpoints, contributing to brand desirability, stylist engagement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and rollout of global activation and content strategies across base business and innovation launches, ensuring alignment with Sebastian’s brand DNA
- Translate brand and innovation strategy into clear, scalable global frameworks that can be effectively deployed across markets.
- Define the role of campaigns, always-on content, and cultural moments across digital and physical touchpoints in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Develop activation principles and toolkits that balance global consistency with local flexibility
- Act as a global thought leader on the professional hairdresser and creative community to inform strategy development
- Leverage a strong understanding of hairstylists as creators, tastemakers, and brand advocates, alongside evolving consumer behaviors.
- Translate insight intocontent, messaging, and channel strategies that connect with both audiences.
