As an Associate Media Planner at Moon Rabbit, you will play a supportive and growing role in creating and executing strategic media plans that effectively reach target audiences and achieve campaign objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help develop innovative media strategies that maximize brand visibility, engagement, and return on investment (ROI). This role offers an exciting opportunity for an entry-level professional to work with leading brands, learn to leverage cutting-edge media platforms, and help drive impactful advertising campaigns.
Responsibilities:- Assist senior team members in developing comprehensive media plans tailored to meet client objectives, target audience demographics, and campaign budgets
- Help conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform media strategy development.
- Support the team in identifying optimal media channels and platforms for campaign delivery, including digital, social, traditional, and emerging media opportunities
- Assist in the process of negotiating and securing favorable media placements, ad rates, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, creative teams, and data analysts, to align media strategies with overall campaign objectives and messaging
- Learn to utilize media planning tools and software to analyze audience insights, media performance data, and campaign metrics.
- Help monitor campaign delivery and performance in real-time to ensure campaign success and adherence to KPIs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new media technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Foster strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, and technology partners to stay informed of new opportunities for clients.
- Assist in providing regular updates, reports, and insights to clients and internal stakeholders on media performance and trends
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience (including internships) in media planning, buying, or related roles within an advertising agency, media agency, or brand marketing
- A foundational understanding of (and eagerness to learn more about) media planning principles, methodologies, and industry trends across digital, traditional, and emerging media channels.
- Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn media planning and analytics tools, such as Nielsen, com Score, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc
- Emerging analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and help draw insights to optimize campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate concepts to internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the media landscape.
