Join MoFo as a SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST on our Marketing team!

This role is based in New York.

We're looking for a Senior Business Development Specialist to serve as the execution engine behind a high-volume, high-growth Business Development program. This role will take ownership of the day-to-day work that keeps opportunities moving—coordinating research, materials, tracking, and events. This is a chance to be the operational backbone of a strategic growth initiative in the Food + Ag + Consumer space.

• Coordinate research, market mapping, and competitive intelligence, and help translate findings into actionable BD follow-up
• Maintain and continuously improve practice, industry, pitch, credentials, and marketing materials
• Track clients, prospects, opportunities, outreach, and action items to ensure consistent and timely follow-through
• Coordinate events, sponsor ships, partnerships, and thought leadership, including associated pre- and post-event BD activity
• Support CRM management, mailing lists, pipeline reporting, and other data and tracking needs across the portfolio
• Provide consistent follow-through across initiatives so opportunities keep moving

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required, with at least four years of relevant experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Food + Ag + Consumer industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of core marketing principles, including driving innovative tools and programs, competitive intelligence, market research, and pitch and RFP responses
• High degree of motivation, with a driving sense of responsibility, accountability, and responsiveness
• Excellent writing, editing, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to focus written materials for impact across general business, legal, and niche audiences
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and deliver under deadlines
• Strong business acumen and sound judgment—able to identify and strategically pursue BD opportunities, quickly assess information, and draw clear conclusions from diverse data, all while maintaining a sharp focus on client value

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience;

and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. We will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Chance Laws and Ordinances.

New York salary range: $104k to $145k
